How to Succeed in Mr. Adams Class

  1. Come to class each day on time. Prepared for class, and prepared to learn.  Be motivated and have a Desire to Learn!
  2. Write down neatly and completely all notes and examples.
  3. Pay attention and Participate mentally. Listen, Learn, Think, Do!
  4. Read the text pages in each section and look closely at their examples. Memorize ALL notes, everything underlined in the textbook, and appropriate definitions, theorems, and ideas.
  5. Do ALL your Homework showing All work and Every step Completely in your notebook. You learn by doing.
  6. Do ALL your Homework (see #5). Yes, This is very important!
  7. Correct your Homework each day in class. Erase and redo any incorrect problems the proper way.  Write down any examples we do that you did not get correct.
  8. Complete you Knowledge. Know the material completely and thoroughly- Not partially.
  9. Keep you Notebook and Homework well organized with every assignment written on top of the page with the date, and keep you assignments in order.
  10. Come for extra help after school the moment you start to fall behind,  DO NOT wait until you are completely LOST.

Every Day You Must Have

  1. Your textbook (covered)
  2. Your three ring binder notebook with paper, just for math and you homework assignment written down and you assignment organized in order.
  3. two already sharpened #2 Pencils with erasers
  4. Your calculator
  5. Your agenda booklet with the HW assignments written down
  6. Your homework done properly.

               Failure to have any item 1-5 is an Automatic Detention

All Students should have every assignment written in their Agendas.  Each assignment should be written on the 1st line of their notebook paper, and the Day and the Date should be written in the upper top right corner. Students must show all work and every step neatly and completely with each exercise.
