Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen
Reviewed by Chelsea and Deanna, January 2006
The book Someone Like You, is about two girls that have an amazing friendship. The story takes you through all their differences; through thick and thin they stick together, through anything! We think that this is an amazing story and that it is a good book to read. Anyone can relate to it because of the strong friendships shown in the story and the hardships of the high school years.

Blackbird House by Alice Hoffman
“I love how Hoffman developed her characters. She looks at the lives of people who have passed “through this house at the end of the world” on Cape Cod over the span of about 150 years. A nice series of short stories, enjoyable reading.”
